These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the metrosupplies.co.uk website and the supply of products by METRO SUPPLIES LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales. By placing an order or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Orders & Acceptance
Standard online orders are placed and paid for through our Shopify-hosted checkout. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch of your order, not at the point of payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full.
2. Trade, Bulk & Repeat Supply Enquiries
Trade pricing, bulk and repeat supply requests submitted via our enquiry forms are not orders and are not automatically accepted. We review each enquiry and respond with availability, pricing and delivery terms. Any supply arrangement is subject to a separate written agreement or order confirmation.
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices on the website are in GBP and, unless stated otherwise, exclude VAT and delivery. VAT and delivery (where applicable) are shown at checkout. We may correct pricing errors before dispatch and will notify you if the price has changed.
4. Delivery
Delivery options, lead times and access requirements are described in our Delivery Policy. Bulk and pallet deliveries may require suitable vehicle access and unloading arrangements.
5. Product Information & Compatibility
We take care to describe products accurately, but images and specifications are for guidance only. Customers are responsible for confirming product suitability against their own equipment, systems or third-party guidance before ordering. This is particularly important for water treatment supplies.
6. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. See our Refunds & Returns page for details.
7. Business Customers
Where you order in the course of a business or trade, the cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply. Business orders are governed by the order confirmation and any agreed trade terms.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the goods supplied. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
