How delivery is priced, scheduled and confirmed for standard, bulk and pallet orders.

We deliver across mainland UK. Delivery options, lead times and pricing depend on postcode, product, quantity and order type. Some Highlands, islands and offshore postcodes may incur a surcharge or longer lead times — we will confirm before dispatch.
Standard orders
Standard online orders are dispatched through carrier networks. Typical lead time is 2–5 working days from dispatch. Tracking is provided where the carrier supports it. Delivery cost (if any) is shown at checkout.
Bulk and pallet orders
Larger quantities are delivered on pallets via a dedicated pallet network. Each bulk and pallet order is reviewed before confirmation. We may ask for additional information such as access notes, vehicle restrictions, forklift availability, tail-lift requirements or preferred delivery windows. Pallet deliveries are typically kerbside unless otherwise agreed.
Repeat supply
Repeat supply schedules are agreed in advance and delivered on the cadence confirmed with your account. Cadence, quantity and delivery window can be changed by contacting us.
Failed or refused deliveries
If a delivery cannot be completed because access details were inaccurate, no one was available to receive a pallet, or the delivery is refused, redelivery or return charges may apply. We will contact you to agree the next step.
Damage and shortages
Please inspect deliveries on arrival. Note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery paperwork where possible and report it to info@metrosupplies.co.uk as soon as possible. See our Refunds & Returns page for the full process.
